Investment experience is not essential but successful candidates will be required to obtain professional qualifications, currently the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst program (CFA) or CISI equivalent. Regular domestic and international travel will also be required.

    Degree educated to a high level you will have:

    • An interest in investments
    • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and influencing skills
    • An inquisitive nature and an interest in the world - language skills will be an advantage in some areas of our business 
    • Strong communication skills with the presence and dedication to manage successful client relationships
    • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
    • The ability to pass challenging exams while working
    • High levels of energy and enthusiasm

Throughout your career here, we encourage everyone to take responsibility for their ongoing development, whether that’s attending a formal training course, reading, signing up to a webinar, going to a conference or spending time in another team.

    For 108 years we’ve built our success on strong client relationships. With the right training we’re confident you can add 30 years or more on to that.
